REACH GROUPS

NEW STUDIES BEGIN MAY 2022

~ REGISTER TODAY! ~

WHAT ARE REACH GROUPS?  REACH GROUPS are small groups of people doing life together by meeting weekly over the course of a semester. They last about 60-90 minutes and meet on various days & times. They can meet on the church campus, in a home, at a diner, or even through the ZOOM video conference platform – the possibilities are endless! REACH GROUPS provide an opportunity to go deeper – living and learning Gospel Truth. They’re also an opportunity to connect with others and build relationships. We’re meant to navigate life together!

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A BOOK? Book purchases are recommended for some REACH GROUPS, but they are not required. Participants can purchase a class book by following the links provided on our website. These links are provided as a courtesy and are only suggestions, as you may find more cost-effective resources on your own.

IF MY REACH GROUP MEETS THROUGH ZOOM, HOW DO I JOIN?

STEP 1: If using a computer, go to zoom.us. If using a smartphone or tablet, download the free ZOOM app.

STEP 2: Create a ZOOM account by clicking SIGN UP and providing an email address and creating a password. This is free. Creating a ZOOM account makes joining a REACH ZOOM GROUP quick & easy!

STEP 3: Register for one or more of our many REACH ZOOM GROUPS below. Registration ensures you will receive communication about your group. When it’s time for your REACH ZOOM GROUP to begin, simply click the ZOOM link for your group. That’s it!

WHAT IF I NEED TECH SUPPORT?

No problem! We’d love to offer our assistance. Text your need to our church landline (914-761-3361) and someone will get in contact with you.

I DON’T HAVE ENOUGH FAITH TO BE AN ATHEIST

THURS @ 7PM
IN-PERSON, CO-ED GROUP

Facilitator:

Amin Sizemore

Class Description

To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion, in general, and Christianity, in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable.

However, Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems. Christianity is, indeed, more rational than unbelief itself. In this small group study, we will review some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of God, as well as examine the source of morality and the reliability of the New Testament accounts concerning Jesus. This is a great study for those skeptical about Christianity, as well as a helpful resource for Christians seeking to articulate a more sophisticated defense of their faith.

NOTE: This is an IN-PERSON, CO-ED REACH GROUP that meets in the Multipurpose Room on the White Plains Campus (294 Old Mamaroneck Road). All are welcome!
