REACH GROUPS

NEW GROUPS FOR FALL 2022!

*MOST GROUPS BEGIN THE FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER

~ VISIT THE THREE BAPTISMS PAGE FOR ANOTHER GREAT DISCIPLESHIP OPPORTUNITY ~

WHAT ARE REACH GROUPS?  REACH GROUPS are small groups of people doing life together by meeting weekly over the course of a semester. They last about 60-90 minutes and meet on various days & times. They can meet on the church campus, in a home, at a diner – the possibilities are endless! We also have an online prayer group that meets through the ZOOM video conference platform. REACH GROUPS provide an opportunity to go deeper – living and learning gospel truth.

REACH CHURCH offers many opportunities to connect with others throughout the week and build relationships. We’re meant to navigate life together!

DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A BOOK? Book purchases are recommended for some REACH GROUPS, but they are not required. Participants can purchase a class book by following the links provided on our website. These links are provided as a courtesy and are only suggestions, as you may find more cost-effective resources on your own.

MARKS OF A DISCIPLE

MON @ 7PM
CO-ED GROUP

Facilitator:

Ron Abad

Class Description

Christians are designed to grow. But many of us don’t know what growth looks like. How do we even know we’re growing? In Marks of Disciple, we’ll examine six measurements to help us see whether or not we’re developing spiritually. This is not a checklist or a punch card, but rather a group of traits distilled from Scripture that should be evident in the life of a follower of Jesus. As we pursue these markers, our faith can flourish the way God intended.

Together, we will:

– Identify areas for growth in our faith
– Develop healthy habits to spur spiritual growth
– Gain an understanding of basic Christian doctrine
– Learn to engage God’s Word more deeply

NOTE: This is a CO-ED GROUP that meets in person at 7PM on the church campus.

OCT/NOV 2022

Truly Free Image

What is keeping you from being TRULY FREE?

Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and in earth has been given to Me” (Matthew 28:18). As believers, we have Christ and never need to be afraid, yet we are not immune to the effects of evil. Even if we’re saved and trust in Christ, we may still find areas in which we just can’t get victory. Maybe it’s a sin we’ve confessed again and again, or a constant struggle with depression, anger, or lust. These long-imbedded patterns of shameful living continue to entangle us day after day, month after month, and even year after year.

In this six-session Robert Morris study, we will examine the glorious truth that the promise of being set free from the slavery of sin is a promise to be set free completely. Although evil is real, we have the promise that the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Jesus saves us, trains us to resist the power of evil, and delivers us from anything that holds us back. With Jesus, we can be finally free forever.

ALL groups begin the week of October 2nd.

OTOÑO 2022

VERDADERAMENTE LIBRES

VIERNES @ 7PM
GRUPO CO-ED

Facilitadores:

Moises Alvarado & Luis Marrero

Class Description
